A Magical First Snow of the Season

Our beloved Vermont winter getaway is beautiful in every season, and winter is no exception — even when the winter weather does come a little earlier than usual! We recently got our first snow up here in the Northeast Kingdom and it’s so beautiful to see the land blanketed in white. Come along on a little winter walk with us throughout the grounds!

There are a lot of beautiful views at Sky Meadow, but this one from the top of the hill overlooking the mountains to the north is hard to beat!
The ponds are already icing over! They won’t be frozen enough to walk on for some time yet, but they’re frozen enough for the snow to linger on the surface.
