Accommodations

A Place to Rejuvenate

Originally built in 1900, our historic Retreat Barn has been lovingly converted into a cozy, rustic, eco-conscious haven that sleeps up to 22 people. In addition to the many amenities on the Retreat Barn‘s main level, here are also three shared bathrooms throughout, with two on the main level near the kitchen, dining and lounge areas, and one in the lower level of the barn. All accommodations in the Retreat Barn are available year-round.

Main Level Bunks

The main floor of the Retreat Barn features 3 cozy bunk rooms, each with two sets of bunks to sleep up to 4 per room. The hand-built bunks are larger than a typical twin bed (with some as large as a full), with thick memory foam mattresses for a comfortable night’s sleep. All Retreat Barn amenities are easily accessible, including two shared bathrooms, the coffee & tea bar, yoga floor and lounge/dining/kitchen areas. The Back Porch offers tranquil space to sit with a morning cup of coffee or tea and look out on the pasture as the steam rises off the ponds.

These are available seasonally from June to the end of September; they are closed for the colder months from October-May. While they have more limited amenities than the Retreat Barn, many of these hand-built, camp style cottages offer kitchenettes, cold running water and electricity, woodstoves for heat, and composting toilets. (Please refer to each listing for the specific amenities available in each one.)

The Pond House

Our largest cabin, the Pond House is a charming sanctuary overlooking the lower gardens and ponds. The two-story space features a delightful vintage woodstove, kitchenette, dining area and futon for lounging (or extra sleeping quarters), while the upstairs boasts a private writing desk and a full-size bed. Its front porch makes a lovely spot to sit with morning coffee or a journal. This cabin also features a composting toilet for added convenience. Perfect for solo retreats or for those looking for a more private stay.
